A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a postgraduate professional degree which prepares students to work as a teacher in govermment and non-government educational institution.The Department of Teacher Education was established in 2010 to impart education in the field of teacher education ,with an objective to produce motivated and fascinating teachers.
VCMT ,for B.Ed degree,is recognised by NCTE & Affiliated to Kumaun University,Nainital(Uttarakhand).
Admissions are done strictly as per NCTE,Govt. Of Uttarakhand and Kumaun University guidelines.

Eligibility	Student with aggregate 50% and above at under graduate or post graduate level exams
Relaxation	5% for SC/ST/OBC applicant.
Duration	Two Academic Year
Total Seats	100
